To update status, open the work order and change the Status dropdown.

Assigning a work order

Open the work order and select a staff member from the Assigned to field. Assigned orders appear on the staff member’s My work page.

My work page (staff)

Staff members see only their assigned work orders here. They can:

  • Update the status (Open → In Progress → Done)
  • Add comments with progress notes or photos

Staff do not need manager access to use this page.

Adding comments

Open the work order and click in the Comments section. Comments are timestamped and attributed to the user who posted them. Use comments for progress updates, parts ordered, or photos of the issue.

High and urgent work orders

Reservations on a site with an Open work order at High or Urgent priority display a warning on the availability grid. This alerts office staff that the site may not be ready for the upcoming arrival.

Troubleshooting

Work order not appearing in My work — confirm the work order has been assigned to the staff member (open the order and check the Assigned to field).

Warning showing on availability grid — a High or Urgent work order is Open on that site. Close or downgrade the work order once the issue is resolved.
