Privacy
Last updated 31 October 2026. Covers this website, simplecampground.com. The SimpleCampground application has its own terms and privacy notice for parks that use it.
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms: your email address, your park's name, and anything else you choose to tell us.
To stop abuse of the forms we keep a one-way hash of your network address, not the address itself, for about an hour. Like any web server, ours keeps short-lived access logs for troubleshooting.
To keep spam out, your browser solves a small puzzle from our own server before a form is sent. It takes a moment of computing time and involves no third-party service.
What we don't do
- No cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this website.
- We never sell, rent or share what you send us.
- No newsletter. We use your email to reply to you.
Where it's kept
On our own server, reached over encrypted connections. Requests and messages are copied to our backup drive nightly and old copies are deleted after 30 days. Each one is also sent to our inbox as a notification.
Removing your details
Send a message through the contact form from the email address you used. We'll delete your details and confirm by email. Backups clear within 30 days.
